Grand Prix
Each year, several races covering different distances get selected to be part of the Penicuik Harriers hill, road and XC grand prix (GP). To have a chance to win the trophy, you need to score points in a minimum of 4 races. Prices will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd female and male Harrier, to the Harrier who completed most GP races in each category and to every Harrier who completed at least 4 races.

Responsible for the categories are Anne Watson (road GP), Allan Dunbar (XC GP) and Rob Wilson (hill GP). The leader board and a list of races for the current GP are here https://penicuikharriers.org.uk/current-grand-prix/

Handicap
On the last Tuesday of each month (except Dec), there is a club handicap [see training calendar for dates and locations]. At the end of the season, the male and female best handicap (most improved performance) will be awarded and the McEwan Quaich will be presented to the Harrier who participated in most handicaps.

George McEwan was a coach, friend and mentor to many in our club.
