Alloa East District XC

So the second fixture in the East District cross country was held in Alloa last Saturday. Another stunning cold crisp afternoon with races for all ages. The senior course was 9000m which consisted of 3 laps through woods and fields, over some ploughed furrows and the odd log jump thrown in as well for good measure. There were about 240 runners in the senior field. The views of the Ochils were stunning. The course was excellent, narrow in places over some of the trails but open in other bits to allow for overtaking. A great day out.
