Seven of us, well eight if you include Mike Brooks who we bumped into, had a wee adventure in the Pentlands – photos are in the album here..

Great photos folks, bet it was an exhausting trudge!
Aw, slightly jealous! I was busy on Saturday (and also quite knackered) otherwise i would have joined you. As it was, I stupidly attempted Turnhouse, Carnethy, Scald Law and back from my hoose on Sunday morning instead. It was slidy, very soggy and blowing a gale (felt a bit like piglet on the Blustery Day). Next time I’ll bring a sack of tatties to hold me down.
Bad planning I say!!
Flotterstone to West Kip and back in the afternoon was fabulous. A nice compacted path all the way although deep snow around South Black and more importantly, the sun had softened the snow.
A pleasurable run albeit a tad tiring.
Great morning having fun in the snow! Think the legs might ache a bit in the morning, it was pretty tough going.
